Welcome to the 3rd Ranger Battalion Milsim Unit

We are thankful you have taken time out of your day to come and check out our Enlistee Guide. This guide was made to make the joining process easier for all people, regardless of technically know how.

Can you commit your time to our unit?

Ability to attend at least 70% or more of our mandatory events. These consist of:

1. Field Training Exercise; Every Tuesday @ 1900 GMT/BST
2. Operational Campaign; Every Sunday @ 1900 GMT/BST

Deal breaker is Sunday, as it's our Main Operation of the week, we are more lenient on missing Tuesdays:

Recruitment has the right to deny any application based on attendence or days you may miss.

Our unit pushes for 100% accountability of our soldiers, meaning if you can't make an event, your Squad Leader needs to know you won't be there. Filing of a Temporary Pass Request (TPR) is a way to inform your Leadership that you won't be present at one of the mandatory events listed above. These are done through the operations center.

You must complete your Introduction and RASP with-in 7 days of your enlistment.

What are the minimum requirements to join the 3rd Ranger Battalion Milsim Unit?

1. Must be able to maintain 70% attendance per month (Times listed above)
2. Minimum age is 18, not debatable, no exceptions
3. You must have a working & clear microphone
4. Must have Discord
5. Must have a legit copy of Arma 3
6. Must be willing to follow the chain of command and take orders told to you by your ranking members.
7. Dual-Clanning is prohibited if it conflicts with both, or either of our Operation days.

Choosing Your Name

When you are choosing a name to enlist in the 3rd Ranger Battalion Milsim Unit, you must choose a realistic forename and surname. This does not necessarily have to be your real forename and surname, but whichever names you choose to enlist with must be plausible. You may NOT choose any of the following:

1. Historically important names
2. Actors
3. Cartoon names
4. Names of importance from novels, television, etc
5. Religious names

An example of an appropriate name would be

1. Forename: Daniel
2. Surname: Johnson

An example of an inappropriate name would be

1. Forename: Luke
2. Surname: Skywalker

Notes:

1. Your Steam Profile must be fully public as to allow our recruitment team to do their vetting checks
2. You may change this back to private after you've either been Accepted or Denied.
3. All names are subject to recruitment approval.
